lol, does this guy really think he can beat Griffith, if so then he’s a little off in the head. If there is a fight, I think it’ll be either short and sweet with Griffith completely obliterating him, or long in drawn out with the Emperor getting pwned but persistently coming back for more. Man I really wish we could see Guts again, my guess is that by the time we get back to them they’ll already be on that Elf Island.

nova kane – My assumption is that there is a limit to the ability to heal. For instance, my body might heal from a scratch with no damage. If I accidentally cut off my finger, it may be able to be reattached but within a timeline and there would most likely be random sharp pains where it was cut due to the nerve damage. If my leg was cut off, too bad? Therefore, to answer your question, probably not.
Hmmmm, if guts gets his arm back, would that be better or worse for his fighting now since the cannon, crossbow, and block of metal actually seem to be huge advantages?
This combat between the emporer and Griffith looks a little one sided, but Griffith is a god-hand.
answering retarded questions all day: they may actually be able to heal entire limbs. For example, a man who cut off the tip of his finger was able to grow it back through some kind of stuff. True story, saw it on the news. They had scientists talking about it and everything.

His eye would increase his fighting ability. Didn’t say it wouldn’t. We haven’t seen the new Griffith fight yet, but he does have the god hand on his side.
He won’t get his arm back because the first episodes when griffith is already emperor and guts is fighting he still has the prosthetic. Also, his eye was still missing then.
1. Spirouack, this is a -mistake- on the part of the anime’s production crew. Griffith -never- became “emperor” or anything of the sort, let alone king. He’s been gunning for his own kingdom since …the dawn of Berserk, and is still doing such -right now-. Please never use the anime to judge the original form (manga) by. The former has so many mistakes and omissions its best to never bring it up when talking about the manga.
2.Guts is never growing back is arm (at least “at the moment)…I don’t know why people are sitting here debating modern science in a dark fantasy book. His arm is gone, and in one of the recent episodes we see he hasn’t even formed the “nub” that most would. To top this off, his eye was “poked”, essentially gored out. He’s not “growing” them back, he’s not “getting” them back. The only way he would is if he has a somewhat “transcendence” of his body much like Femto has done.
