aah, for me, I'm thankful enough if there is a new chapter at all, unlike some manga dat got to be ended due to various reasons, having the mangaka sayin 2 his fans, 'yes I'm workin on the next chapter, dunno when i'll finish but I already got the name (manga outline) done so I can promise u dat it'll b done, word.' is better than hearing him/her say, 'sorry, got too many plotholes, thanks for ur support thus far but now's da tym to part, bye bye' =P

I've idle for a long while and I've gotta say that you've spiked up an interesting conversation.. One comment caught my eye in particular.. What if they don't reach fairy island? I'm new to berserk btw. I just started reading 2 days ago, and boy it was a marathon! just finished 302....
All along I have been dying for a kickass hardcore manga in which the Good guyz have to fight tooth and nail for every inch of ground they gain and villains are beyond godlike giving the protagonist a run for his life.. not many mangas have been able to fulfill my wish, but man berserk didn't just do that, it blew my mind.
one complain i have for the mianstream manga (naruto,bleach) is that they are not dark enough for me. not much good guyz are slain... but this is where berserk delivers... its darkness and awesome art set it in a different league then all other manga...
normally i feel a little sympathy for the villains (if they are not too bad) and i feel that the villains don't get to enjoy their life much before being nailed by the protagonist... but again in berserk, griffith is having a time of his life right now....
I though i would like that, but when him raping casca was too much... i don't feel a shroud of sympathy towards that sob.
And the way is acting like a messiah and all the people hailing their knight in shining armor is pissing me off to no end..
I want Gatts to rip griffith's guts out and make him die a most painful death....
There is one thing i think people on this forum are forgetting....
If casca does get her sanity back...
what if she doesn't want Gatts to take revenge on Griffith ?? (The skull kight asked this question to Gatts and he was dumbfounded)...
Gatts would be torn apart.... I think he wants his revenge as much as he loves casca.... but I think he will choose revenge...
Also with all the gals falling for mr. gatts, it feels like a harem manga.... as someone said above gatts surely deserves it, for all the hell he been through... although keep that lil witch gal out of it... i don't like pedophiles.

2nd, pretty interesting stuff there, I think if she does get her sanity back and asked Guts to not mind Griffy and be off just the two of them, then he'd surely going to wave it off just like that n choose revenge instead, I mean, it's in his nature but then again people change, so there's still a possibility that he'll agree and be off s'where fuckin' like rabbits with no care of the world whatsoever, but if that was to happen then Caska must die (preferably by Griffy) so that Guts will come back to the ol' path and go on a rampage coz that's what he's supposed to do and with Caska's death, he'll surely get his power up since nothing can hold him back anymore, what d'you think? =P

if Caska doesnt want to go after Griffth, then i dont see Gutz goin for revenge, his love for her is greater, remember he decided that he will NEVER leave her alone again.
so he will go wherever she goes.
But i dont think Griffth will leave em alone, i believe after he cleanses the world of the evil, and he becomes king, gets his kindom as so on, if Gutz doesnt go back he will go after Gutz, i believe he might find loneliness without Gutz and Caska and will go after them.

I don't see Gatts going quietly with Caska and leaving griffith alone even if she wishes for it. He's traveling to Elf land because it is the one place where he can leave Caska with having to worry about her safety. He is planning to leave her there and go kick girffith's ass.
Moreover, I can't see the manga ending with Gatts and caska living happily and leaving griffith alone. That would be a letdown.
In short, all paths lead to vengeance.

Wow.I just read some of these comments and can't believe that there's such a small amount of girls reading Berserk.I'm a girl myself(from Croatia...if you've ever heard of it D:),and I love reading all sorts of manga.
I have to admit that I love mangas like Berserk,Elfen Lied,Gantz,Claymore,Doubt,Uzumaki etc.
And OMG,the comments started in December and still no new chapter?D: It's been almost 4 months!
Well I tried to get a few of my female friends to read it. But the gore and girls being raped by monsters was too much for them. They all said it sucked.

Yeah but then again, Skullknight and Zodd told him he can't do one and then the other, so I really don't know, I like the way each told him though...the cemetary battle, and before Ganishka went all wobbly man and shit. I like going back late nights and reading through old chapters, I notice alot of things that I really overlooked before, very subtle things but there's much going on in the background.

The first time ive even heard of the word berserk was when i was like 8 or 9, we had a dreacast and my oldest bro let me and my other bro have a bunch of games. I played the hell out of this game called "Sword of the Berserk" NEVER KNOWING that 1 it was not teh true story but 2 was compelled by Gutts's struggle. MY friend that i kknew since grade schoole the told me he heard about a berserk manga nad a ps2 game. I was enchanted when i first layed eyes on teh scans.
I've read all of the comments on here and the Idolmasters thing was just some guy raging in teh forums on a site.
i wont be on here often so I' ll leave you all with as much as i can.

I think Guts and Co. will get there, and unlock the "Caska's Sanity" Achievement but she will fire a shinku Noyuken at Gutts for making her remember all the terrible things that happened. When she she decideds to leave Gutts and got to Griff, Gutt's pulls off a combo breaker and gets 15 exp for stopping her by explaining the situation. He will level up from the ain of exp but will lose party members because i dont think that religous chick will stay around if caska is sain.
Grifith will Capture all bases and become teh ruler, and then seek out any oppressors. then well, basically what sacwhite said.(he will force his small sack of ambition onto all while Gutt's truck load of free will will dominate.)
but i think griffith will win and teh people will then realize that they were dumb fucks, but Gutt's dosn't really die and uses the beihlit(exuse teh spellin) and sacrifises the apostoles instead of humans(it never said you couldn't) him pulling that off would set the stage for a fair one on one fight with griffith
and yea i think one more terrible thing will happen to caska, like death after she regains her memory(of course b4 he uses teh beihlit.
If i confused you guys im sorry but this is how i think it would go down, and as for the result, i think it will be like the skull knight and void, Gutts and Griffith will be at it forever, ending the game. Then you return your rented game with the few achievement points you got b4 the week ends. lol.

He secretly got rid of all of the Echo Screen afterward, so they were screwed the moment he cast teh spell( and yea, I dont think anybody likes Griff/Femto anymore after the rape.) MY only thing is, WHY, why did he do it, was it to make Gatts mad, was it out of spite, jealousy(which is what I really think), or was it just to be a Dill weed? I mean sure you got a class advancement but your still(and now even more) gay. And the main thing that disturbs me is that, he is something like Gatt's son now, I wonder if he realizes that, and if he does, does he even care? So much to be answered, I really do detest waiting.

I actually thought about it for a while and thought it's kinda gud that the chapters are slow... it makes it more appreciated when it finally is released. Also, if we rush the chapters, we're gonna reach the end of berserk sooner than we would want.. which would suck. It's completely acceptable that everyone wants Gutz to kill Griff/Femto, but once that happens it's the end lol

if the delay in beween chapters continues like this some people might really not see the ending.
1 per month 1 every 2 months i could deal with that, but 1 every half a year? 2 chapters a year.... grrr.. thats just disapointing.

but if that's so, it truly is taking too long, at most 1 very 2~3 months is acceptable but every half a year is too pushing it. We know that mangakas need their well-deserve break but to be pushing it, now that's just... ain't right... I can agree with wat Arua said about waiting so that we can appreciate it more in the end, but still, waiting half a year for just 1 chapter, now that won't do... at all... how old r y'all anyway? But seriously 1 chapter every 6 months is too long. Berserk should strictly follow the bi-monthly schedule, that it originally follows.
Don't worry people even if we have to issues a month, Berserk is not gonna finish anytime soon. I want to see it end in about 5,6 years. That would be perfect.
I'm 22 years old btw, and I don't want berserk to take 10,15 more years, so that I have to watch it with my kids.
