Berserk Gaiden – Fan Made Berserk RPG
Not long ago Carlos contacted me about a Berserk RPG he made. I've only played an hour or so, but it plays nicely so far. I don't really have the system requirements on this, but it is working fine on my Windows XP machine. Read below for his description.
In this game you play as Guts, a mercenary, one of the many hired to kill Bazuso, your companion is a annoying fairy Puck.

Please victorvedder, don't tell me what I should have said. I didn't want to give him feedback or rub his ego in any way. I was just giving a direct answer to the question 'if you're not going to play this, why the fuck not?'. I am absolutely not supportive of people like carlos submitting thier games to websites like this, especially not before he knows how to use the program yet. These kinds of spaces should be reserved and that's why I say there's no excuse for the screenshots being so awful, in all the games I've seen I've never seen it done so poorly even by people who will freely admit they have no mapping skill. He set himself up for a fall and honestly it amazed me how many people appreciate this. I give respect to whoever is due it victorvedder, and not just so I can 'fit in'.
I agree 100% I love Berserk too much to see crap like this made. I say EPIC FAIL. The guy who made this game seems to not know much of anything. Especialy, since it looks more like a rip off of old school Zelda. Just with more colors.
Breadfan if u want to be a douchebag and talk crap take it somewhere else, theres a difference between constructive criticism and acting like u have a dick up ur ass, leave the fighting to Gutts and his band of misfits. (notice i did not praise n e 1 in this rant, nor did i claim 2 b something i'm not just to prove a point)
Excuse me MoMoney, but before you act like a hero of the situation get a grip of it first. I'm niether trying to be or want to be a 'douchebag', but I do defend my case when it's unjustifyable attacked. There was no need for anybody to target me for being outspoken and I absolutely hate it if my oppinion is considered void by outcry. I'm not one to throw insults so you can take that elsewhere yourself pal. There aren't many posts here that are constructive so why is it I suddenly am handed that responsibility huh? You're talking to me like I've done or said something I shouldn't have, you're in no position as you are to be 'constructive' to me. My attitude has been fine, standing by what I say and giving reasons for and backing it up, that is exactly the right thing to do. This comment section is so that people can make comments about the post isn't it? Not to get argumentitive to one guy who gave a negative comment. I can say what I think about it, I don't expect people like you to try to teach me principles on conduct or appropriate behaviour, I've already had to try to justify what I said.
I'm very respectful of written and unwritten internet rules thanks very much. Even if it's 'giving respect', I've done to whoever has tried to get me to fix, appologise, or otherwise just make my oppinion seem smaller and unimportant, or me seem like a common hater, an 'arrogant douchbag' to diminish my reason, to discredit me. Don't think I'm so easily managed that you can put me in a box like that. I didn't come here looking for respect, I know it wasn't nice what I said, but that doesn't mean I have to suddenly approve of this being posted to 'correct' myself. That isn't ever going to change.
Don't think for a minute that this is with disrespect to the people who run this place either. You've been disrespectful to me as many people have, and I think you aught to look in the mirror about this. You can be thankful of not having a quality filter all you like though, so long as there are people who can speak thier mind about the submissions who needs one isn't that right? Oh sorry, I forgot you'd rather censor them instead. Trust me when I say it's more constructive to be deconstructive in this case, this kind of game is more common and unremarkable than you know and the way he's promoted it and all the credit he's had justifys a bit of a pasting, with respect and perspective on all RMXP/VX projects.

Breadfan if you're so good at making a game based on berserk why don't you show us your amazing skills, otherwise STFU. The fact of the matter is Carlos made an attempt to make a fan made berserk game while you are doing nothing but putting him down, you make me sick.
Hehe, you bastards keep going on and on about this don't you? Anyways, I just want to say I always like seeing fan efforts, no matter the size or shape. Just because I like seeing it doesn't speak to the quality of the effort.

First, thank you for this site, I have been a Berserk fan since 2000 and I love the manga, anime, games and music.
Second about this game, good work i have not played it but it looks like whoever made it, put some time and effort into it, so I always praise work that other people do.

Are you guys blind? Just look at the game for one second. You dont need to know how to make RPG's or even how to use the program to see how appauling the game is. My advice to you mate is dont show things off until you know its good. You havent even learnt how to do anything and yet here you are submitting it. You must have spent 10 minutes on it at best. Please I everyone thats commented go and research what it is he is doing before uneducated positive feedback. Its absolute junk. Type in 'RPG Maker XP Map Tutorials' if this guy had followed just one of them it wouldnt look like it came from a cat walking across his keyboard.

This guy is a fan of Berserk, he made a Berserk themed RPG. I'm always interested in the fandom and fan created things surrounding Berserk. Hell, if you look through our archives you will find a song was submitted.
