My original goal was to get a better idea of how Berserk chapter release frequency is now compared to the long term. You can see that in recent years there has been a single volume published each year whereas in previous years it was most normally two.

If these were novels, a year or three between each volume wouldn't shock anyone at all.
If Berserk were a novel it wouldn't take as long to story-tell.
I've been able to deal with the endless wait for just one chapter... but seeing this just makes me depressed.
Exactly, Its not like we're going to throw a rage-quit and stop reading i ( I doubt any of us could DO that... ) but its not fun seeing how slowly each volume comes out, even if the artwork is amazing.
I'm holding out for a year where the bar goes into the negative.
Try to put a chart of chapters per year. It will be more precise. The problems is that in the beginning the chapters were longer, so I guess pages per year is the real deal.
Did anyone stop to think that maybe he is wokring on the nexyt anime? and still drawing up this Manga? he may have other jobs aside from Berserk. I take this slow progress in his work is due to the fact that he is working on Berserk Anime season 2!
I would sure hope so, but thats hard to believe.

And if this continues so slowly it's no use following it i need to reread everything every time whenever a chapter comes out. They should really speed up Berserk it's the only manga worth reading.
Compared to other manga's Berserk is on a whole different league.
I think that it is confirmed that the anime is cancelled. Its takes so long cuz he is addicted to some damn game. Hell if it came out faster they could make a anime and I wouldnt care. But if it is this slow hell no to fillers(even though I would probably love them anyways). Berserk is on a godly level in manga. Plot and drawings are by far the best I have ever seen and read. I recommend it to everyone that can handle some violence.
Well they "said" it was cancelled , but i think that was a lie due to the leak of thoes images that got posted around the forums... So for the time being they said it was cancelled but i smell something in the air and its bloody..
I have seen a few popular seinen manga very poorly translated into anime (in my opinion) in the last few years and I became terrified--what if X Company has the rights to Berserk?! I have little liking for a lot of newer anime. I have sunk into manga and prefer it now. While the first anime season of Berserk was pretty faithful to the manga, I have doubts in my heart about the quality of a second season even if the animation is "prettier". But is is even being/going to be produced? One can't help but wonder if Miura is collaborating with an animation company. I know about Idol Master, but surely those girls cannot be occupying all of his time? I wonder more if he's getting burned out?
